Unfortunately, not a lot as the Quest Rotorua was not as portayed in the accommodation guide we used.
It was unfortunate that the swimming pool was not heated! As this was what had been stated in the AA accommodation guide we used. Also, the size of the so called kitchen facilities were totally inadequate for our needs as a family!

Neat rooms, good beds. Had a swimming pool as well, though didnt utilize while we were there. Would rate as a good 3 star hotel. Good location too, just a bit outside the city centre, great option if you drive. Staff was helpful and efficient as well. Basically a non-pretentious, value for money and comfortable option.
Kitchenette could be more utilitarian if it had a sink in it. Good enough for basic needs though, no major gripes.

The Managers were fantastic - very welcoming, and went out of their way to do the 'extra mile'. Would return to the Quest Rotorua based on how treated by them. The room was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable.

Our room was on the ground floor and we had easy access to the pool area.
The pool wasn't heated and the in room cooking facilities were minimal. There was a bar fridge and microwave and dishes had to be done in the bathroom hand basin.

Nice, tidy rooms that provide all basic facilities needed. Pool and spa area would be good for families.
Could hear noise from other rooms but not too bad.

The location of the hotel was convenient for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was compact and tidy. The hotel manager was helpful and had a good sense of humour. Some of the outdoor areas had beach chairs around the poolside, which was a plus.
The spa pool was unhygienic and needed a good clean.

Quiet, good pool, hot-tub and sun-bathing facilities
This could not really be described as a serviced studio apartment, there being no apparent difference from a well-equipped hotel room e.g. there was no sink and a micro-wave was the only cooking facility. Washing up had therefore to done in the basin in the bathroom and water for the kettle had to be taken (awkwardly) from the cold tap in the bathroom. Most importantly, the fire doors were constantly being left open. I closed the fire door on our corridor at least 7 or 8 times during our brief stay. Fire doors are for guests' safety and it should not be possible to leave them open even if they do represent an inconvenience for the housekeeping staff.
